Senior Accountant
Senior Accountants, we could use your help! Our client, a well-established organization located in Southwest Washington, is looking for a temporary Senior Accountant who can step in and help keep the accounting work moving.
This is a great opportunity for someone who likes variety, knows their way around the general ledger, and can get up to speed without needing a long runway. The Senior Accountant in this role will be supporting a busy accounting team with core accounting work, close support, reconciliations, reporting, and related projects.
As the Senior Accountant, you would be responsible for:
- General ledger accounting
- Month-end close support
- Journal entries
- Account reconciliations
- Reviewing and researching variances
- Assisting with financial reporting
- Supporting audit preparation as needed
- Helping with related accounting projects

To be considered for this role, you would need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong general accounting skills
- Solid Excel skills
- Ability to jump in, stay organized, and support deadlines
