Living Benefits Claims Processor (Contract) – Remote with Monthly In-Office Collaboration
Beacon Hill Financial is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Claims Processor to support an ongoing contract opportunity. This role is primarily remote, with one in-office collaboration day per month. The ideal candidate will have experience processing claims and a strong understanding of living benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process claims accurately, efficiently, and within established service-level expectations.
- Investigate claims using available resources and information to determine appropriate outcomes.
- Monitor claim activity and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
- Evaluate claim findings and authorize payments or document claim denials with clear explanations.
- Ensure claim files are complete, accurate, and contain all required documentation.
- Manage a high-volume workload while maintaining quality and turnaround standards.
- Respond to inquiries regarding claim status, policy provisions, and benefit eligibility.
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to established processes and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Experience in claims processing, preferably involving living benefits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions and manage multiple priorities.
