Looking for more than just another AP processing role? We’re partnering with a well-established Seattle organization seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to take ownership of a high-volume AP function and become a key member of the accounting team.

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in office with the potential to convert to a permanent position. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in keeping processes running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Own the full-cycle accounts payable process from invoice receipt through payment
• Process and review a high volume of invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Manage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries
• Support month-end close activities, accruals, and AP reporting
• Assist with check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Partner with internal departments to ensure timely approvals and proper coding
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
• Strong understanding of AP best practices and internal controls
• Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• ERP system experience and strong Excel skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
