Position Summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Career Development Specialist to support performance management and career development operations within a professional services environment. This role is responsible for coordinating feedback and review processes, managing Workday updates, supporting career development stakeholders, preparing meeting materials, and ensuring a seamless experience for employees and leadership.

Position Details

  • Pay Rate: $36.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch); flexibility to start as early as 7:00 AM when needed
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3-5 days onsite weekly)

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support career development and performance management processes
  • Manage Career Development Committee (CDC) meeting preparation, scheduling, logistics, and follow-up activities
  • Maintain and update employee records, assignments, and career development information within Workday
  • Monitor completion of feedback and performance review activities and conduct follow-up on outstanding actions
  • Prepare meeting materials, reports, and presentations for leadership discussions
  • Serve as a primary resource for stakeholders regarding career development processes and Workday-related questions
  • Support onboarding sessions, trainings, cohort meetings, and talent development initiatives
  • Draft and distribute communications to employees, advisors, and leadership teams
  • Track workflows, deadlines, and deliverables while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Collaborate with Talent, People, and Business Management teams to support employee development initiatives
  • Coordinate advisor assignments and related employee communications
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and best-practice sharing across teams
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee and performance-related information

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, talent management, staffing, operations, administration, or a related field
  • Experience supporting performance management, employee development, or people-related processes preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using Workday strongly preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
  • Professional presentation and communication skills
  • Experience within a professional services environment preferred
