Accounts Payable Lead
Accounts Payable Leads, Senior A/P Specialists, and high-volume A/P pros, we need to talk! Our Vancouver-area client is adding an Accounts Payable Lead to their team on a temp-to-hire basis, and this is a great opportunity for someone who likes detailed A/P work, steady workflow, and being a go-to resource for a team.
As the Accounts Payable Lead, you would join a busy accounting department and help keep daily A/P processing accurate, organized, and moving forward. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys high-volume work, has strong follow-through, and can balance being hands-on while also helping guide others.
In this Accounts Payable Lead role, you would help with:
- Reviewing high-volume PO invoices
- Supporting daily A/P workflow
- Reviewing team work for accuracy
- Preparing uploads and running batch processes
- Researching and resolving processing errors
- Working within ERP/accounting systems
- Reviewing reports in Excel
- Helping improve process flow and efficiency
- Supporting vendor disbursements and related A/P activity
- Providing guidance and support to A/P team members as needed
This is an in-office opportunity with a steady team in a quieter work environment. The right person will be focused, driven, accurate, and comfortable taking ownership while still being approachable and team-oriented.
To be considered, you should have:
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience
- High-volume A/P processing experience
- Prior lead, senior, training, workflow, or review experience preferred
- ERP or accounting system experience
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to research and resolve errors independently
- A steady, focused, team-oriented personality
