Our client, a leading healthcare system located in west Houston, is seeking a Senior Workforce Analyst to support workforce analytics, reporting, workforce planning, and strategic decision-making initiatives. This individual will leverage workforce data, statistical analysis, forecasting, and business intelligence tools to identify trends, uncover insights, and provide recommendations to senior leaders. The Senior Workforce Analyst will partner closely with HR, Total Rewards, and business stakeholders while developing dashboards, reports, and workforce analytics solutions that drive organizational performance. This role operates in a collaborative, data-driven environment supporting enterprise-wide human capital initiatives. This position is hybrid, working 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and is a contract assignment from August 10, 2026 through November 7, 2026.
Job Responsibilities:

Lead complex workforce analytics projects to support strategic business decisions

Analyze workforce trends, turnover, retention, talent movement, and organizational metrics

Develop dashboards, scorecards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools

Utilize statistical analysis and forecasting methodologies to identify workforce trends and risks

Translate complex workforce data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership

Consult with HR Business Partners and business leaders regarding workforce challenges and reporting needs

Create executive-level presentations and storyboards that communicate findings effectively

Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across workforce reporting and analytics initiatives

Partner with IT and business stakeholders to improve reporting capabilities and data systems

Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance on workforce analytics methodologies
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field

5+ years of workforce analytics, HR analytics, business analysis, or related analytical experience

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong SQL experience for querying, extracting, and analyzing data

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms

Demonstrated experience building workforce dashboards and executive-level reporting

Strong understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting techniques, and workforce analytics methodologies

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills

Ability to translate data insights into strategic business recommendations

Proven critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management capabilities

Experience partnering with HR, Total Rewards, Compensation, Workforce Planning, or People Analytics teams preferred

Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required
