Credit Documentation Specialist
Location: Hybrid (St. Paul, MN Office)
Schedule: Required onsite every Tuesday. After training, employees may choose flexible onsite days for the remaining required in-office days. Monday-Friday: 8am-4:45pm
Pay Rate: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour, depending on previous experience
Contract Duration: Expected to continue through the end of 2027
Position Overview
Beacon Hill’s client is seeking detail-oriented and highly organized professionals to join their team of Credit Documentation Specialists. This team is responsible for supporting the end-to-end implementation of lending and deposit products by producing accurate, compliant, and high-quality documentation for credit unions, financial institutions, and other lending organizations.

The hiring manager is particularly interested in individuals who have experience within a credit union or financial institution and possess knowledge of lending operations, documentation, or regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and update documents, forms, collateral materials, invoices, and supporting deliverables to ensure accurate and timely implementation for clients.
- Review, revise, proofread, and manage lending and deposit-related documentation using established templates, standards, and processes.
- Partner with analysts to accurately implement requested modifications to document packages and client forms.
- Monitor shared team inboxes and process incoming requests in a timely manner.
- Provide support for basic client inquiries related to forms, documentation, and implementation requests.
- Apply federal and state disclosure requirements and consumer protection regulations to ensure documentation remains compliant.
- Coordinate with external forms vendors to support document reproduction, programming, testing, and quality assurance efforts.
- Maintain detailed records and ensure documentation changes are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines within a fast-paced operational environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with documentation, data entry, records management, or administrative support functions.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems and processes.
- Experience supporting compliance-related activities, documentation, or regulatory processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a credit union, financial institution, or lending environment.
- Knowledge of lending operations, loan documentation, deposit products, or financial services processes.
- Understanding of insurance products and related administrative functions.
- Experience utilizing specialized document creation software such as Liquid Office and Adobe InDesign.
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations impacting financial services documentation.
