Contract Recruiter

Beacon Hill’s client, a well-respected organization in the higher education sector, is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join their team in Northfield, Minnesota. This is an exciting opportunity for a recruitment professional who enjoys partnering with hiring leaders, managing multiple searches, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance.

Compensation: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour, depending on experience

Location: Hybrid – 4 days a week onsite, 1 day remote out of Northfield, MN

Schedule: Monday-Friday – Regular Buisness Schedule

Contract Duration: 4 Months

Position Overview

The Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of exempt and non-exempt positions. This individual will collaborate closely with hiring managers, oversee recruiting operations within the ATS, and help attract top talent while maintaining a positive and professional experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for both exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Handle an active requisition load of approximately 15-20 openings simultaneously.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and guide hiring decisions.
  • Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates across a variety of functional areas.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Create and manage job postings that are distributed across multiple recruiting platforms, including major job boards and professional networking sites.
  • Coordinate candidate communications and ensure a high-quality experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the Oracle Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Support recruiting operations, reporting, and hiring process administration.
  • Facilitate interview scheduling, candidate follow-up, and offer coordination.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment while balancing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • Experience recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent searches and competing priorities.
  • Strong candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and providing consultative recruiting support.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems; Oracle ATS experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
