Second Chair Plaintiff’-Side Birth Injury Litigation Attorney

An established and growing plaintiff-side medical malpractice firm is seeking a litigation attorney to join a newly created trial team focused on catastrophic birth injury cases.

This position offers hands-on responsibility, substantial courtroom exposure, and a clear path to increased responsibility on nationally significant cases.

Responsibilities

• Support trial team in all phases of litigation
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Draft motions, briefs, and discovery
• Assist with witness preparation and trial strategy
• Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of litigation experience
• Significant previous deposition experience required
• Medical malpractice experience strongly preferred
• Strong writing, advocacy, and case management skills
• Active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction

Location

Based in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC.

Candidates must be able to work in the office on a regular basis and travel for occasional trial assignments. This is not a fully remote position.
