Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Location: Eden Prairie, MN
Work Arrangment: Full-Time | Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Regular Business Hours
Pay: $24-$26/hour, depending on experience

Beacon Hill’s client is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Receptionist to serve as the face of their organization. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome guests, candidates, customers, vendors, and business partners in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Serve as the primary contact for incoming calls by answering, screening, and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Oversee visitor check-in processes, issue badges, and notify employees of arriving guests.
  • Distribute incoming mail, deliveries, and packages while ensuring timely internal delivery.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments through carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
  • Maintain the appearance and organization of the reception area, conference rooms, and shared office spaces.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish office, kitchen, and breakroom supplies as needed.
  • Provide administrative support through document preparation, filing, scanning, data entry, and spreadsheet maintenance.
  • Partner with Human Resources to support interview scheduling, onboarding coordination, and visitor logistics.
  • Arrange catering, meeting materials, and other details for company meetings and employee events.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding activities and contribute to special projects across departments.
  • Handle sensitive employee and company information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as needed to support business objectives.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of receptionist, front desk, or administrative support experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Outstanding customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and work independently.
  • Professional demeanor with sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Previous experience within healthcare, manufacturing, or the medical device industry is preferred.
