Senior Accountant
If you are the person who spots the reconciliation issue everyone else missed, this may be the project for you. We are looking for a sharp, hands-on Senior Accountant to join a well-established company on a temporary engagement. You will take ownership of meaningful accounting work while partnering directly with a supportive, down-to-earth leader.
As the Senior Accountant, you will:
- Own complex account and intercompany reconciliations
- Research discrepancies and work through issues to resolution
- Organize and analyze transaction activity in Excel
- Partner with accounting contacts to gather information and correct differences
- Support year-end preparation and other accounting priorities
- Take on additional reconciliation and special projects as needed
This is a role for someone who enjoys getting into the details and figuring out why something does not balance. You will be trusted to work independently, recognize when something does not look right, and bring forward thoughtful questions and findings.
To be considered for this Senior Accountant opportunity, you should have:
- 3+ years of hands-on general accounting experience
- Strong reconciliation experience
- A BA/BS in Accounting
- Intermediate or stronger Excel skills
- The ability to work independently without significant handholding
