We are seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers & Mechanical Systems Engineers to lead complex engineering and product development initiatives within a highly collaborative aerospace environment. This role will support multiple projects simultaneously while partnering with engineering, planning, finance, product support, and leadership teams to ensure successful execution.
Responsibilities:
Support aircraft sustainment and modification programs involving mechanical systems and subsystem upgrades.
Create and update engineering documentation, including 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
Investigate fleet and component issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions to improve reliability.
Partner with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams to resolve technical challenges.
Lead efforts to improve system performance, maintainability, and long-term fleet support.
Preferred Experience:
Aircraft mechanical systems engineering experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Landing Gear
- Environmental Control Systems (ECS)
- Mechanical Flight Controls
- Cargo/Payload Handling
- Hydraulics
- Electrical Power Systems
- Aircraft Wiring & Lighting
Background supporting aircraft sustainment, modification, repair, or service life extension programs.
Experience analyzing aging systems/components and recommending reliability or obsolescence solutions.
Familiarity with military aerospace standards and airworthiness requirements is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical communication skills.
