ob Description: Our client, a fintech company located in Lower Manhattan is looking for a Temporary Facilities Coordinator to join their team. This position will start ASAP and will be in-office 5 days per week between the hours of 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Must be flexible to come in earlier or stay later. Compensation is $25-30/hour DOE.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain office cleanliness and overall workplace appearance
- Perform routine cleaning and facilities upkeep
- Clean and maintain ice machines
- Descale coffee equipment
- Wash and put away dishes
- Restock bathroom and office supplies
- Assemble furniture
- Reorient and move furniture as needed
- Lift and move items up to 30 lbs
- Assist with basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting
- Provide coverage and support when the Workplace Generalist is out of office
- Help manage office organization and desk space maintenance
- Retrieve items from off-site storage locations as needed
- Support workplace operations and address day-to-day facilities requests
- Assist with vendor-supported cleaning and maintenance activities
- Adapt to changing priorities and handle “edits on the fly”
Qualifications:
- Experience in facilities, workplace operations, hospitality, maintenance, office services, or related environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Resourceful self-starter who works independently
- Adaptable and comfortable shifting priorities throughout the day
- Excellent judgment and professionalism
- Ability to support a busy office environment with minimal disruption
- Comfortable with hands-on cleaning and maintenance duties
- Reliable and responsive with a strong service mindset
