Customer Service Logistics Coordinator (Contract)
Location: Eden Prairie, MN (Onsite)
Schedule: 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM (one early shift and one later shift available)
Duration: October 2026 – April 2027
Employment Type: Contract
About the Role
Beacon Hill’s client is seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused professionals to join their logistics operations team. In this role, you will support transportation and shipment activities while providing exceptional service to customers and carriers. This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide shipment information and support customer and carrier inquiries
- Create and activate orders and shipments
- Build and assign loads
- Schedule appointments and coordinate shipment details
- Track and trace shipments while ensuring timely updates
- Enter events and process invoicing activities
- Monitor task boards and assigned email inboxes
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and escalation processes
- Validate and maintain accurate load data within company systems
- Follow through on requests to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Customer service experience in a call center or similar environment
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring accuracy and attention to detail
