Our client, a leading technology company located in Austin, is seeking a Part Time Workplace Coordinator to serve as the face of its Austin hub and create a welcoming, polished experience for employees, visitors, and guests. This individual will own front-of-house operations while supporting office readiness, supplies, maintenance coordination, vendors, onboarding tours, internal events, and workplace communications. They will also serve as an onsite point of support for the North America remote service desk, assisting with Jira ticket triage and escalating issues when necessary. The environment is fast-paced, people-first, and hospitality driven, so they need someone proactive who can stay organized and operate effectively under pressure. This is an onsite, part time, 3-month contract working Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. This role pays up to 25hr.
Job Responsibilities:

Serve as the face and first impression of the Austin hub, welcoming employees, visitors, and guests with warmth and professionalism.

Manage front-of-house operations, including visitor management, hospitality setup, space readiness, and daily presentation standards.

Maintain day-to-day office operations, including supplies, maintenance coordination, and communication with building management.

Support new hire onboarding tours and other employee experience initiatives.

Assist with internal events and workplace communications.

Serve as the onsite anchor for the North America remote service desk and help triage Jira tickets.

Escalate workplace or service issues as needed and keep employees informed throughout the process.

Uphold Miro’s office policies, visitor experience standards, and operational guidelines for the Austin hub.

Coordinate vendors and contractors, including scheduling and following through on outstanding needs.

Proactively identify operational needs and help address issues before they impact the workplace experience.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in workplace operations, hospitality, office coordination, or a customer-facing role.

Strong hospitality mindset with the ability to provide a welcoming, people-first experience.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple requests and follow through independently.

Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

Proactive, solutions-focused approach and comfort operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and remain composed while handling competing priorities.

Strong AI fluency and comfort leveraging technology in the workplace.

Ability to work onsite in Austin Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
