Beacon Hill is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in the Crystal Lake area to identify a Senior HR Generalist. This position will play a key role in supporting both talent acquisition and day-to-day Human Resources operations.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in a manufacturing environment and have a strong foundation in recruiting, employee relations, compliance, and general HR support. This is an opportunity to join a stable organization where you’ll initially focus on hiring initiatives while gaining ownership of broader HR functions over time.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly, skilled trades, technical, and salaried positions
- Partner with managers on hiring, workforce planning, and onboarding
- Support employee relations, performance management, and retention initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and HR best practices
- Assist with training, engagement, and other HR programs
- Maintain employee records and HR reporting
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for leaders and employees across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of HR Generalist and/or HR Business Partner experience
- Previous HR experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong full-cycle recruiting experience
- Knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and employment law
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, but not required
- Benefits administration experience is a plus
