A growing IP boutique in Washington, D.C. is seeking a patent attorney with 1+ year of patent prosecution experience and a Ph.D. in Chemistry. The attorney will work on sophisticated patent matters for clients in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemical industries, including patent drafting and prosecution, inventor interviews, patentability analysis, portfolio strategy, and related IP counseling.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or closely related field
- J.D. and active U.S. bar membership
- USPTO registration
- 1+ year of substantive patent prosecution experience
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skill
