Our client, a leading automotive technology company building out its presence in Southwest Austin, is seeking a Consumer Experience Specialist to support consumers throughout their experience with the company’s platform. This individual will provide high-quality customer service primarily over the phone while also supporting customers through email and chat. The Consumer Experience Specialist will handle approximately 50 calls per day, help resolve customer questions and concerns, and create a positive experience through strong communication, energy, and enthusiasm. This is a growth-oriented environment, and the company is specifically looking for someone who wants to develop professionally and advance within the organization. The position is currently fully remote while the new Austin office is being established and is expected to transition to a hybrid schedule with approximately 2 days onsite in Southwest Austin. The anticipated schedule is 11:00 AM-8:00 PM with every-other-weekend availability required. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with the conversion likely occurring between 3-6 months. This role pays 19hr.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality customer service and support to consumers primarily over the phone.

Manage approximately 50 customer calls per day, with call volume expected to increase as the Austin operation grows.

Respond professionally and efficiently to customer questions through phone, email, and chat.

Help consumers navigate services and overall customer experience.

Resolve customer questions, issues, and concerns while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.

Clearly communicate information to consumers and ensure they understand appropriate next steps.

Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism throughout customer interactions.

Work collaboratively with the Consumer Experience team and team leads to provide consistent customer support.

Adapt to increasing call volume and changing responsibilities as the Austin team continues to expand.

Contribute to a positive, growth-oriented team environment while developing toward future advancement opportunities within the organization.
Qualifications:

Previous phone-based customer service experience is required.

Experience providing customer support through email and chat in addition to phone support.

Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.

Comfortable handling approximately 50 calls per day in a customer-facing environment.

High-energy, enthusiastic personality with the ability to “smile through the phone.”
