Structural Engineer

We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer to support the design of transmission, distribution, substation, and other utility structures. This role will focus primarily on structural design of tubular steel poles and arms, working closely with customers, manufacturing, production, and internal engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on structural design experience, an FE certification, and a strong safety and teamwork mindset. This position is based in Brigham City, UT, with relocation candidates welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs for transmission, distribution, substation, and utility structures.
• Review drawings, specifications, contract documents, and project requirements.
• Perform structural design using PLS-Pole and proprietary component calculations.
• Develop preliminary/pre-sale concepts and review final post-sale designs.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and production teams and troubleshoot field issues.
• Coordinate directly with customers and other engineering and design professionals.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and teamwork.
• Occasionally travel to plants, utility offices, field locations, and trade shows.
