About the Role:
A Beacon Hill client in Warren County, NJ is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a confidential search and an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing core accounting functions within a small, collaborative team that operates in a large, complex environment.
Compensation for this role is based on previous experience, up to 80k.
Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end close processes accurately and on time
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Perform general accounting functions, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Support internal and external audits as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience (corporate or public accounting)
- Strong knowledge of month-end close and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
