Beacon Hill is staffing for several Accounting Consultant opportunities in the Philadelphia, PA area. These roles are onsite or hybrid and offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
- Assist with audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.
- Support process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Experience in a Staff or Senior Accounting role, or an accounting operations role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems and ERPs
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
