Our client is seeking a Marketing Implementation Strategist / Marketing Manager to join its team on a two-week contract to help bring a campus-based marketing campaign to life. In this short-term project, you’ll be responsible for identifying high-traffic University of Texas campus locations, securing placements, and developing a clear strategy for our brand ambassadors to execute.
This role is ideal for someone with strong local insight and/or connection to the University of Texas, creative marketing instincts, and the ability to move quickly and strategically.
What You’ll Do:
- Research and evaluate top campus and community locations for brand activations and ambassador placements.
- Develop a detailed marketing implementation plan outlining key sites, timing, and engagement tactics.
- Coordinate with campus organizations, local businesses, and vendors to secure access and approvals.
- Create strategy documentation, maps, and ambassador guidelines for campaign rollout.
- Complete all deliverables – including location list, strategy summary, and activation plan – within the two-week contract window.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, field marketing, or campaign strategy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts on a tight timeline.
- Knowledge of campus environments and student engagement strategies.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 2 weeks
- Focus: Location scouting, campaign planning, and strategy handoff
- Schedule: Flexible; deliverables due by contract end date
- Start Date: ASAP
- Compensation: $20-25/hr
