A Cleveland law firm is seeking a motivated Legal Administrative Assistant with 5+ years of relevant experience to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a structured, high-performance environment and is looking to advance their career at a reputable law firm.
This role provides comprehensive administrative support within a legal services environment, working closely with legal professionals in corporate, finance, and related practice areas. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, committed to confidentiality and delivering exceptional internal support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist legal professionals with drafting, formatting, and finalizing various legal and business-related documents with accuracy and efficiency.
- Compose routine correspondence, edit content, and ensure consistent document presentation.
- Manage complex schedules, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
- Enter timekeeping data promptly and correctly using internal tracking tools.
- Organize and maintain both digital and physical filing systems in line with organizational protocols.
- Handle a variety of administrative duties including new matter setup, conflict searches, billing processes, incoming and outgoing communications, and reimbursement processing.
- Serve as a key point of contact, ensuring professional interactions with clients, team members, and other internal departments.
- Collaborate with administrative peers to complete assignments routed through a shared task management system.
- Engage in continuous learning through internal training programs to enhance legal administrative expertise.
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary education is required.
- A minimum of five years’ experience providing administrative support within a legal setting.
- Strong organizational abilities, including task prioritization and time management.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to accuracy and detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines.
- A service-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
