Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations:
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and completed on time.
- Oversee general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and fixed assets.
- Develop and enforce company accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for leadership, auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate year-end audits and tax filings, liaising with external auditors and tax professionals as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations.

Team Management & Development:
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing coaching, performance reviews, and opportunities for growth.
- Allocate team workload efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.

Process Improvements & Controls:
- Implement and enhance internal controls to mitigate financial risk and improve accounting accuracy.
- Identify areas for process automation, cost savings, and enhanced reporting.

Cross-Functional Support:
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and other business units to support financial analyses, budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
