Senior Accountant (Temporary – 2-3 Months)
Location: Onsite – Long Beach, CA
Duration: 2-3 month temporary assignment

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support a Long Beach-based organization on an onsite, temporary basis for the next 2-3 months. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who can step in quickly, manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities, and support month-end close with minimal ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities
Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Maintain and review general ledger accounts
Prepare and reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting
Support AP and AR functions as needed
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
Work directly in QuickBooks for daily accounting and reporting
Collaborate onsite with internal teams to support accounting operations
Qualifications
5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a Senior Accountant role
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (required)
Solid understanding of general ledger and month-end close
Highly detail-oriented and able to work independently
Available to work onsite in Long Beach for the duration of the assignment

Able to commit to a 2-3 month onsite engagement
