Contact Center Representative
Contract-to-Hire | Full-Time | 100% Onsite
Compensation: $18.50 per hour
Location: Dublin, OH – Full time onsite with opportunity to go hybrid upon being hired on permanetly
Beacon Hill’s client is seeking customer-focused professionals to join their team as a Contact Center Representative. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy speaking with customers, answering questions, solving problems, and delivering a positive experience over the phone.
In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for members calling with questions regarding healthcare plans, coverage options, claims, eligibility, provider information, and other benefit-related inquiries. Successful candidates will be comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls while providing accurate information, compassionate support, and professional service.

- Monday-Friday
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
After Training

Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from members seeking assistance with medical benefits, coverage questions, claims, billing concerns, and provider-related inquiries.
- Educate callers on healthcare plan features, eligibility requirements, and available resources.
- Research customer concerns and identify solutions while navigating multiple systems and databases.
- Document call details accurately and maintain complete records of customer interactions.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external healthcare partners to help resolve escalated issues.
- Provide status updates regarding authorizations, claims processing, and benefit-related requests.
- Guide members through healthcare-related processes and explain information in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
- Handle sensitive conversations with patience, professionalism, and empathy.
- Meet quality and productivity standards within a structured contact center environment.
- Deliver a positive customer experience on every call by actively listening and responding effectively to member needs.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, contact center, call center, or phone-based support experience preferred.
- Experience in a retail or restaurant customer service is enouraged to apply as well.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to remain professional and composed while handling a high volume of calls.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to meeting performance expectations.
- Ability to learn healthcare-related products, services, and terminology.
