We are seeking a Biomolecule Nanodelivery Scientist to support research at the intersection of nanotechnology and plant sciences. This position is part of a collaborative R&D team and focuses on developing and testing delivery approaches for biomolecules in plant systems.
Key responsibilities:

Design and conduct laboratory studies on nanoparticle formulation, gene and protein encapsulation, and cellular uptake and translocation in plants

Synthesize, engineer, and formulate nanomaterials for targeted delivery applications

Deploy and optimize multiple nanoparticle engineering and formulation strategies

Develop and test innovative methods to enable uptake and delivery within biological systems

Plan experiments with clear hypotheses and ensure accurate, reproducible documentation

Collaborate with interdisciplinary scientists to manage data and support workflow development

Troubleshoot technical challenges and independently evaluate approaches to improve outcomes

Present research results through clear written reports, oral updates, and peer-reviewed publications
Required qualifications:

PhD or MS in biophysical chemistry, chemical engineering, drug delivery, cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related discipline

2-4 years of hands-on experience in biomolecule delivery with a record of scientific publications or presentations

Practical experience in cellular uptake and biomolecule delivery research

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to adapt quickly, apply new concepts, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications:

Experience working with nanotechnology in plant systems

Knowledge of plant biology, metabolism, and physiology

Familiarity with microbial-based protein expression and purification
