Payroll Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Hybrid – 2 days in office (Voorhees, NJ)
Salary Range: $54,000 – $78,000 annually

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a large workforce. The ideal candidate will have strong compliance knowledge and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll for 1,000-2,000 employees across multiple states.
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on reporting and audits.
Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and tax filings.
Qualifications:
3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a large organization.
Proficiency with payroll systems (ADP, UKG, or similar).
Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and garnishments.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
