Billing Administrator
Location: Somerset, NJ
Type: Contract-to-Hire
We’re partnering with a growing engineering firm to find a Billing Administrator who can manage client invoicing and support the finance team. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process client invoices accurately and on time
- Review contracts and billing terms to ensure compliance
- Track and resolve billing discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close and reporting
- Communicate with project managers and clients regarding billing issues
Must-Have Skills:
- 2+ years of billing or accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Deltek, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in engineering or professional services
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Pay: Up to $28/hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Hybrid after training (initially on-site)
