Overview
We are seeking a Controller or Accounting Manager level candidate to support a mid-sized company during a maternity leave coverage. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a strong possibility of extension or permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the audit process.
- Consolidate financials for multiple holding companies.
- Prepare quarterly management reports for the board.
- Handle traditional accounting functions, including general ledger management and staff accounting.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis, including bank reconciliations and month-end close activities.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and financial management skills; industry experience in construction is not required
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team.
- Excellent communication skills; dynamic and personable
Work Arrangement
Hybrid schedule: 3-4 days onsite, 1-2 days remote, with potential for increased flexibility over time.
