Job Posting: Claims Reviewer (Contract Role)
We are seeking Claims Reviewers for a contract supporting a large-scale recovery initiative. This position involves reviewing and processing claims related to a specialized program. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify applications for program eligibility.
- Perform quality checks on processed applications.
- Assist with appeals and follow-up inquiries.
- Communicate with applicants or their representatives to ensure accurate information.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support program objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records throughout the process.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- At least one year of administrative experience in a professional setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret program guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with applicants and team members.
- Basic math skills for calculations and data verification.
- Ability to work onsite on a rotating schedule and accommodate overtime as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in claims processing or related administrative work.
- Familiarity with specialized software tools such as Xactimate.
- Knowledge of government programs or disaster recovery processes is a plus.
