Senior Accountant
Looking for your next accounting opportunity where you can make an immediate impact? One of our long-standing Bellevue-area clients is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an opportunity to step into a key role, partner with leadership, and support critical accounting functions within a collaborative and professional environment.

What you’ll be doing:
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account analyses
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Lead and support month-end close activities
- Assist with financial reporting and supporting schedules
- Research accounting issues and resolve discrepancies
- Analyze financial data and identify process improvement opportunities
- Support audit requests and ensure documentation is complete and accurate
- Utilize Excel and ERP systems to manage and maintain financial records
- Partner with cross-functional teams on special projects and ad hoc reporting
You’ll join a team that values collaboration, communication, and accountability. The manager provides support when needed but trusts team members to work independently and take ownership of their responsibilities. This role offers a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
- Experience preparing financial reports and supporting audits
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience working within an ERP system
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
