Beacon Hill is staffing for several Staff Accountant opportunities in the Camden County area. These positions can be on-site or hybrid.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements and assist with variance analysis.
  • Review and process expense reports, ensuring proper coding and adherence to company policies.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience; public accounting or corporate experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
