Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and GAAP.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records, working closely with internal teams.
- Prepare and process account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Assist with implementation of process improvements and system enhancements to optimize accounting functions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
