International Maritime Company seeks to hire a Temp to Perm Client Documentation Coordinator. Located in Midtown Manhattan, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to learn about the maritime industry and build a career in this unique and interesting field. Hours are Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm with an hour unpaid lunch break. You will be expected to work in the office 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Working with clients on various items including document issuance, vessel registration and requirements relating to client work.
- Relaying and following up with clients on deadlines, uploading documents for online filings and adding items to the daily log
- Responding to client related inquiries in a timely fashion
- Ability to meet important deadlines are crucial
- Other tasks include answering phones, scheduling meetings, clerical duties (copying, scanning, filings), typing documents and taking dictation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Thrives in deadline driven environment
- 2 + years of related admin or client focused work
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
Compensation:
- Salary ranges from $55K – $65K depending on experience
- A complete benefits packages is offered once perm
