District Council located in West Village, Manhattan is seeking to hire a Temporary Member Service Representatives be the point person when a member calls with questions. Candidates will go through a thorough training program to learn all necessary information. This position will start ASAP requiring 5 days in the office, from 9am-5pm (35-hour week). Pay rate up to $21/hour with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service to members
- Learn the ins-and-outs of the business to assist members as needed
- Answer any and all questions relating to members’ benefit plans
- Set up meetings, update information into the system as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
- Customer service experience in some capacity
- Positive attitude and a desire to help others
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable in a high-volume environment
