Our client, a non-profit organization, is actively seeking a contract to hire Leave Administrator to join their team! We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional who can confidently manage leave administration processes and jump right in.
About You:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role
- 3+ years of experience in leave administration, benefits or human resources
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, OSHA, COBRA, and Workers’ Compensation laws
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, proficency in ADP preferred
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
The Job:
- Oversee and process employee leave programs, including FMLA, non-FMLA, ADA accommodations, short-term/long-term disability, parental leave, and more
- Manage ADA accommodations, ensuring a smooth interactive process with employees and managers
- Maintain timely communication with employees on leave to facilitate a smooth return-to-work process
- Work cross-functionally with Payroll and Fiscal departments to coordinate leave and absence processes
- Support benefits administration as needed, including medical/dental enrollments and qualifying life events
- Manage Workers’ Compensation cases and OSHA logs
- Maintain accurate records in HRIS and ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Conduct periodic audits to verify enrollments, changes, and terminations
This contract to hire opportunity will work on a hybrid schedule following training of three days in the Philadelphia office and two days from home.
