Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients and visitors; answer and direct phone calls
- Draft and revise estate planning documents, including Wills and POAs
- Witness and notarize legal documents as needed
- Prepare probate and estate administration filings
- Maintain financial records for estate accounting and tax preparation
- Assist with non-probate asset transfers and required documentation
- Build strong relationships with clients and beneficiaries throughout the estate process
- Gather materials for estate and inheritance tax audits
- Prepare Receipts and Releases for estate and trust distributions
- Handle mail distribution, document copying, and office supply management
Requirements:
- 3+ years of legal experience in estate administration
- Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong discretion in handling confidential information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Lackner 6-in-1 software (a plus!)
