Our client, a local university, is seeking a contract to hire Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume recruiting efforts across various departments. This role offers the perfect opportunity for a recruiter with a passion for sourcing top talent in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
About You:
- 1+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume hiring.
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (Taleo preferred).
- Experience with social media recruiting, job boards, and networking strategies.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Exceptional time management, organization, and communication skills.
The Job:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, from job postings to offer negotiation.
- Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies for administrative, professional, and technical roles.
- Screen and interview candidates, ensuring alignment with job requirements.
- Coordinate and conduct reference and background checks.
- Partner with hiring managers to create effective recruitment plans.
- Track and report on hiring metrics and recruitment expenses.
