International growing hedge fund located in Midtown, East Manhattan is seeking a highly motivated Research Coordinator to work closely with the managing executive assistant and fundamental equities team. This is a new role that is great for someone with strong administrative skills in financial services, offering the chance to manage key operations, build relationships, and support senior management while maintaining attention to detail and organization. Comp is $110k-$170k.

Responsibilities:

– Heavy calendar management across analyst meetings and corporate access; serving as a face of the business and its portfolio managers both internally and externally

– Book travel arrangements including flights, hotels and ground transportation and process expenses timely and efficiently in Workday

– Assist with scheduling of IR calls for each sector and log into CorpAxe

– Track sell-side corporate access events and conferences and reconcile corporate access and broker interactions into database

– Develop relationships with broker sales team and effectively plan meetings/calls

– Cross-sector collaboration and providing back-up coverage across sectors as needed

Qualifications:

– Minimum 5 years administrative assistant experience within financial services

– Bachelor’s degree required

– Strong time management skills

– Must be teamwork oriented with ability to work independently

– Excellent organization skills and detail oriented

– Sense of ownership of work; proactive in following up on details, anticipating needs or issues and closing the loop on requests

– Mature and strong inter-personal skills; able to interact professionally with peers and senior level management both internally and externally

– Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Workday, Bloomberg and CorpAxe is not required but a plus
