Our client, an international law firm, is seeking a Legal Recruiting Assistant to add to their team in NYC. The hours are 9:30am-5pm (flex for light over time) four to five days in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Support leadership in all aspects of lateral attorney and law student recruitment, including application tracking, interview scheduling, correspondence, and preparation of interview materials
- Manage day-to-day operations of the New York office’s recruiting efforts, from on-campus interviews to hiring committee meetings and the full coordination of the summer associate program, including onboarding, events, and training
- Act as a key liaison and representative of the Firm with attorney candidates, law schools, student groups, vendors, and diversity organizations
- Plan and execute a variety of events, including law school receptions, summer associate gatherings, practice group lunches, and employee celebrations
- Oversee diversity sponsorship logistics and attorney participation, coordinate new hire orientations, manage recruiting data and expenses, and maintain Firm-branded inventory
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Experience with FLO, ViDesktop and Simplicity
- Must be detail oriented with a sense of urgency
- An interest in event planning
Compensation/Benefits:
