Beacon Hill has partnered with a global Logistics company in Visalia, CA in hiring an Operations Support Specialist to start immediately! We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive candidates to assist in the smooth execution of day-to-day logistics activities. This role acts as a key liaison between internal teams, partners, and customers to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and operational support to the logistics/operations team.
- Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and vendors to ensure timely movement of goods.
- Track shipments and resolve any delays or issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and transportation documentation.
- Support the preparation of operational reports and performance metrics.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery updates, and service issues.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to optimize logistics workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in an operations or logistics support role (entry-level candidates with strong internship/co-op experience may be considered).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with logistics software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
