Our client, an investment management firm in Beverly, is seeking a temporary Office Assistant to join their team! This role is onsite in Beverly, MA, Monday through Friday, hours 8am-5pm, temporary to hire, and paying $23/hr. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply!
Core Responsibilities:
- Liaise between administration and facilities team addressing general office needs
- Manage mail / package distribution and services
- Stock and order supplies, beverages, and groceries in assigned areas
- Keep office common areas organized and maintained
- Provide phone line and administrative coverage for reception desk, as needed (including transferring, conferencing, greeting guests and vendors, etc.)
- Assist with setup and breakdown of meetings (including dialing into virtual meetings)
- Assist with ad hoc department projects, such as the production of presentation materials
- Provide secondary administrative support for executives on an as-needed basis (including calendar management, travel assistance, meeting coordination, and phone coverage)
- Perform other project related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Associate, bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a plus
- Related work experience preferred (hospitality industry, a plus)
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrate an “all hands-on deck” mentality every day and willingness to adapt quickly
- Proficient in various technology facets, including MS Office Suite
- Pro-active team player with strong work ethic, collaborative attitude, and professional demeanor
- Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
