Position Requirements & Responsibilities
- 1-3 years of professional experience working as a Marketing Assistant or Event Coordinator, ideally in the Information Technology space
- Experience with email marketing campaigns, trade shows, event planning and execution
- Planning vendor/client in office lunches & small seminars- Kitchen/Catering/Hospitality
- Ordering of General office supplies, & coordinating Trade show materials, FedEx & UPS receiving & shipping
- Extremely proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point
- Enthusiastic, detail oriented & self-motivated
- Good computer skills for generating reports viewing marketing metrics, extracting data and sharing information
- Working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs and features with experience in graphic design is helpful.
- Time management skills for juggling numerous time sensitive projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal skills for representing the company in public and during partner events
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business or 2-3 years’ experience as a Marketing coordinator
Work Conditions
- 40-hour week and availability during standard office hours expected
- Some local travel may be expected
- Computer-based position, sitting for extended periods of time (leading/attending virtual meetings)
- Sufficient dexterity of hands and fingers to efficiently operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
