Our client, an architecture firm in midtown Manhattan, is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to join their team. This role is 5 days in office from 8:30am-5:30pm, however, Fridays are a half day for the summer months. The role will start on Tuesday, June 3rd and will last for ~1 month with the potential to extend. It pays up to $35/hr and is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking to be an asset to a busy team.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of all project documents and schedules.
- Management, organization, and maintenance of filing systems.
- Assist with travel arrangements.
- Coordination, scheduling and setup of meeting rooms and conference areas.
- Develop and write proposal submittals contractual agreements as well as edit content developed by technical/lead staff.
- Ensure compliance with proposal documents, including proposal development schedules, outlines, and assignments.
- Ensure quality control process is followed for all proposal submissions.
- Maintain and update the firm’s client listings.
- Maintain company database, opportunities, clients, contact and related support duties.
- Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, consistently meet high standards and be attentive to quality.
- Flexible and proactive team player.
- Well-developed writing and proofreading abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Fastidious attention to detail.
- Prior experience within A/E/C industries a plus.
- 5+ years’ experience
