Our client, a professional services firm, is seeking a contract to hire HR Assistant to support their small but mighty HR team. About you:
- 3+ years of experience in an HR, benefits, or payroll support role
- Familiarity with benefits administration and open enrollment processes
- Experience using an HRIS system; Paylocity experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working with confidential information and sensitive employee data
- A clear communicator with a people-first, solutions-focused mindset
- Excited to pitch in across HR functions – from onboarding to reporting
About the job:
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and offboarding, ensuring all forms, documentation, and benefits elections are completed accurately
- Post job openings, review resumes, and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Serve as the go-to for benefits questions and changes; assist employees with enrollment issues or coverage concerns
- Perform bi-monthly benefit reconciliations by comparing invoices against HRIS enrollments
- Input and audit commission data for payroll, especially during busy seasons
- Process weekly payroll for a small subsidiary group and assist with certified payroll as needed
- Maintain up-to-date employee data in Paylocity, including job changes and benefit selections
- Generate and distribute HR reports as requested
- Support general compliance and employee relations efforts – from policy updates to training documentation
This contract-to-hire opportunity is paying up to 26/hour while temporary and up to 60,000 annually if permanent. The position will work onsite five days a week at the organization’s Philadelphia headquarters.
