Our client, a family office, is seeking an Executive Personal Assistant to support the Chairman in New York, NY. The hours are typically 9:00am-5:00pm, though the Principal often begins his day earlier (e.g., 8:30am-4:30pm). The role requires full-time in-office presence, five days a week, though some weeks may be four days. Candidates must be comfortable being on call 24/7.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level executive support to the Chairman, including calendar and schedule management
* Anticipate needs and ensure efficient use of time, including coordinating meals, car service, and transitions between meetings
* Book domestic and international travel and liaise with external vendors as needed
* Manage phone lines and troubleshoot minor tech issues
* Make restaurant reservations and maintain familiarity with top New York dining options
* Liaise with board members and ensure executive is fully prepared for meetings
* Handle both professional and personal matters with discretion
Qualifications:
* 15-20+ years of experience supporting C-level executives
* Experience supporting a CEO or Chairman strongly preferred
* Background in private equity, hedge funds, family offices, or other finance environments a plus
* Strong attention to detail, excellent judgment, and comfort navigating ever-changing priorities
* Extensive knowledge of New York City preferred
* Bachelor’s degree not required
Compensation/Benefits:
* Up to $200,000-$220,000 depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus
