Facilities Technician

Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a Facilities Technician in New York, NY. The hours are 9:30am-5:30pm with some flexibility as needed. This is a fully in-office role, five days per week.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain cleanliness and functionality of office spaces by walking the floor, tidying desks, removing trash, and ensuring kitchen areas are stocked and clean
* Perform light maintenance and basic repairs such as fixing desk drawers, locks, chairs, and replacing light bulbs
* Serve as a point of contact for facilities-related needs from staff at all levels, including HR requests for new hire desk setups
* Monitor and support general upkeep of shared office equipment such as printers
* Collaborate closely with a team of facilities professionals, including technicians, office services coordinators, and stockroom staff
* Maintain a professional, approachable presence in a high-visibility role within a large, busy office

Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in a facilities or maintenance role
* Familiarity with tools, materials, and methods used in basic office repairs
* Comfortable with physical aspects of the job, including walking and moving around the office throughout the day
* Prior experience in a professional services or corporate office setting preferred

Compensation/Benefits:
* Up to $45,000-$62,000, plus bonus
