Our client, a private investment firm, is seeking an Office Assistant in New York, NY. The hours are 8:45am-5:00pm, and the position is fully in office, five days per week.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain and stock office pantry and supplies, manage inventory, and place supply orders
* Coordinate daily lunch orders via Seamless; receive deliveries and ensure timely distribution
* Receive and manage package and mail deliveries
* Greet guests upon arrival and manage vendor relationships
* Interface with building management for maintenance issues and coordinate repairs
* Provide light executive assistant support to junior associates
* Support the Accounting team (Controller, CFO, Assistant Controller) with digital filing and administrative tasks
* Assist with wire transfers and other transactional processes
* Work closely with the HR team on onboarding, offboarding, and intern program logistics
* Plan and execute firm events including summer offsite and annual meetings
Qualifications:
* 0-5+ years of experience, ideally in a professional office or team environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment
* Strong attention to detail and pride in hospitality
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Interest in accounting or administrative growth is welcome but not required
Compensation/Benefits:
* Up to $75,000-$85,000 base salary plus bonus
