A leading investment management organization in downtown Boston is seeking a full-time Office Administrator to support office and facilities operations. This 100% onsite role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, and offers $26-$31/hour, depending on experience. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with a mission-driven public financial institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate building maintenance, repairs, and office improvements
- Manage the Office Administration inbox and maintain supply inventory
- Keep kitchens stocked and clean, including dishwasher duties
- Provide front desk coverage and receptionist support
- Prepare and distribute Board and Committee packages
- Organize and clean conference rooms for meetings
- Handle mail and newspaper distribution
- Oversee document archiving and manage equipment deliveries
- Maintain copy machines and assist with ad hoc administrative projects
Candidate Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of office or facilities experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Clear communication and collaborative mindset
- Proactive attitude with willingness to pitch in across tasks
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Comfort performing kitchen-related duties
